If his so dead set on a bike, let the guy. Least his reasonable enough to get a 125. (Hopefully you won't be those people that gets bored of it before the end of next season and want to upgrade to a 600/liter bike)
Just remember, gear up be safe, your insurance will slowly come down :)
That's just stupid.
We're trying to promote people to use walk/bike/transit. putting license plates on bicycle is just a great way to stop people from doing that + it looks just as dumb as front plates.
so long as the guy is in first or second gear, you can already go 20-50km/h which is more then enough to get away downtown....
I had to go downtown yesterday for a doctors appointment, i pretty much didn't shift out of 2nd on the 404 and hardly out of first off the highway...
Just don't rush picking up your bike. Personally, I don't like to start my season any earlier then mid April. For me, I like to wait for all the other bikes to be out and remind most drivers that bikes exist and they should look out for us as well. (but that's just my own believe, feel free to...
its interesting, I just had a work trip out in BC Squamish. and a few of the gas stations had signs posted saying do not stay on the motorcycle to refuel.
Never thought this would be a static issue. Can't really think why it would since you should be grounded.....
looks awesome man.
And man you're brave, with the drone. I don't have the balls to trust the drone to follow and fly inside the forest like that... imo its bound to hit something fall and give you a $300 repair bill =/
in fairness, its not only the cyclist had no respect from the left turning cars, the left turning cars just had no respect for the traffic light at all....
Just to finish off the thread,
after waiting for 2 weeks for the part to arrive, I installed it back in the bike, and the speedo is pointing to correctly now!
Glad it was a simple fix :)
it'll be cheaper and a lot less headache if you flew there and pick it up yourself....
Shipping things there for work and back, its a logistic nightmare every time....
lol good to know you don't have to use their oem stick for the floating effect. thing is friggin $90

My buddy that had someone come out of a parking lot into the main street without looking causing my friend to t-bone the guy. his lawyer pretty much told him, unless you have a permanent disability, you're not going to be getting much from them. I'm assuming the lawyers that can actually get...
I actually went in expecting the examiner to hate on a lot of things as I've heard some terrible stories about examiner and not actually knowing motorcycles as well as they should (don't actually ride themselves)
I was quite surprised how chill the guy was :)
Actually, I've gotten use to manually flashing my brake lights which I did during my M2x last week. After the test, the examiner said he liked that I manually flashed my brake lights and suggested I can purchase a flasher module which would make it easier.
He clearly was a rider himself :)
