All good and interesting discussion. Its a new CB500 F. Drain is horizontal out the back. Just a messy operation, especially with the large quantity of oil the sump holds. Thanks all, that quick fit one is interesting also.
Just a enquiry, has anybody used this devise (EZ Drain valve) on their bikes. Sometimes it is just a pain in the arse to get the plug then the oil pours all over some sub structure etc. Example is the CB 500 with over 3 litres of oil just fires it back over the centre stand and swing arm area...
Not going near that hell hole, some jerk off in a large pick up smeared the side of my car then f'd off without a howdy do or thank you for the pleasure. Insurance bit it for over 4000+. Damn right I made the claim!
People are usually on a first bike and financed it, now they want their over inflated price to cover their stupid *** meistake. Low ball or walk away. Probably could do btter just dealing with a stealer if you have cash in hand.

Great and easy to deal with over the net. Tires came in 3 days to southern Ontario by Canada Post to the door with tracking. Prices are competitive and great when Petes doesn't seem to stock what you need.
Look at the CB 500 F. Naked and inbetween the 500 series bikes. Picked one up in July in orange. At the time none in Ontario and it was brought in from Winnipeg. Not disapointed at all coming from my 250 ZZR.
You can get the irridium plug and up graded spark plug set up from Royal Distributing. Got the K&N from Flying Squirrel in TO. Counter shaft sprocket from Honda or site I provided. Clutch springs from site. Makes for a heavier pull but no big deal. No slippage. Everything is out there if you...
