Not sure of the process but if the bike is a salvage or anything along those lines it won't be able to be registered here in Canada. If it is an SS it could be sold as a track bike probably for a loss. if it is anything else you probably have a parts bike or a nice piece of art.

Did you do this install yourself? I have an 04 and if it's that cheap and easy I wouldn't mind trying it myself. Did you follow a link or any specific forum instructions. Feel free to PM if you did, if not I'll do some googling. Thanks.

Agreed I'll do around 10,000 kms in a good year, I have no problem bringing my 08 GSXR 750 over 100,000. Lucky I got a great deal on a low km one and it's into the normal range now, I have no plans on saving it for someone else. I bought it to ride not hang out at Tim's and show it off.

Looks like the price is down to $2,300 now...at 41,000 km over 10 years that's only 4100 kms a season. If I was in the market for an SS i'd probably be jumping on this.

My bike came with aftermarket rearsets, I'm thinking I'll probably just adapt to the GP shift and switch my street bike over to it as well so I don't make any costly mistakes. It is a possibility that if I just can't adapt that a swap could be in order.
