Thanks for posting that, cool to see myself in action. Was a fun session you showed me where I was going to slow, picked up a bunch of speed after that session.
Great day yesterday! I too was happy to finally get out on my new machine and see what it can do under my power.
I had a blast and it was great to finally meet some of you and have some track side help/laughs.
Smergy thanks for towing and following me around, hopefully next time out I'll work...
Usually it's number dependent if they run two groups; low numbers they combine if people are agreeable.
Can't decide if being the day after a long weekend will bump numbers up or having people pass as they won't have time to prep or already did a 4 day weekend.
Either way I am beyond excited...
I'm starting in green.
I was running upper green on my SV650 last year but figured I'd start out easy on the new machine. If things go well after a few sessions or lunch I can bump up to yellow need be.
Sometimes they only run green and a yellow/red which I didn't want to end up in.
Maybe...
Excellent! I like technical and I am in for Tuesday. Where do you folks usually pit? I'd like to set up next to you and put some faces to the names. Feel free to PM me if you don't want bikes or car makes out on the internet. Excited to get out for the first time this year!
I'm running the Q3+ this year, if my tires are better than the Q3's then I will be happy and if the Q4's are even better than the Q3+ I think they'd be great.
I have heard the Q's heat up quick but if you push real hard they get greasy. I'm ok with that as I can dial it down one notch and have...
I might do that too; not sure I can wait till July 7 or if it'll be smart to be out for the first time on my new bike on a pre-CSBK practice day.
Injured finger building deck this past weekend so I will see how that is healing as the week progresses, if all is good I'll call and book Friday for...
I bought a camelbak hydra pack/back pack that was designed for back country snowboarding. Has good space, lots of compression straps so it stays right where it needs to be. Buddy runs a bicycle store and got me one on closeout a few years old for like 50 bucks. Maybe make a few calls after...

Google hyper flash correction and I'm sure you'll find other options as well.
I checked GBM schedule, it appears that is the only Thursday with a * because it is a full lapping day. If that is the case I'll come down for the entire day instead of just the evening :)
So how was your weekend with Racer5? Not the greatest weather but Sunday was great for putting it all...
Ya June 7 is the Thursday before CSBK. 5-9. It's a good day for me to test out the R6 for me and see what's what.
I did the same thing last year before CSBK and there were only a handful of people out. Some big rigs came in to set up and be ready for Friday practice. They might have ran 2...
Have a great time, I loved the course and recommend it to a ton of people. Hopefully I'll see some of that new found talent at GBM soon. June 7th can't come quick enough.
Off topic but what layout will the CSBK race be?
I have a half day on the Thursday just before the CSBK weekend and figured the track would be run as per the CSBK race for anyone who wants a little extra practice.
I put these on the front of my finacee's R3 and made my own custom rear fender and installed them there too.
