Oxford Mills Update
I departed Bath at 6:30am with a big Black cloud to the West.
Just a few drops of rain until I got north of the 401 then it was just partially sunny all the way to Oxford Mills.
The only issue I had with the bike was the windshield I had installed the day before would bend back at 80 to 100 kph.
The Amazon universal mounts had plastic handle bar mounts that would stretch and not tighten properly.
Every time I hit a big bump the windshield would bump the power switch on my iPad and power down MapsMe.
Once I discovered the cause of the Issue I was able to reposition my iPad and mostly cure the issue.
Maybe someday I will find another cheap Vetter Quiksilver.
Because of the forecast for hot and sunny I packed my mesh jacket but it never got warm enough to wear.
The park where the CVMG Ottawa Branch show & shine is held has plenty of large maple trees and with mostly high cloud.
There was no need for the sun block I left at home.
A local snowmobile club was taking care of our food needs and the home made pies at $3.00 for a good size slice were awesome.
The attendance of vintage motorcycles/riders was down this year and the number of Mobility Scooter was up.
It looks like the Winter Kill is taking a toll us old guys/gals.
The ride home had some great twisty roads canopied with leaves but one had to be cautious
because those trees where very closet the pavement leaving no room for error.
There were some showers south of Westport but I managed to just ahead or behind them and did not get wet.

Off to lunch in Hastings Wednesday to meet another Guzzi Ridder and make plans for the OGR rally in Lavigne.
