BMW is experimenting with input interface to its TFT screen.
You move through the menu system using your butt.
Press down on your left or right butcheek to move the cursor left and right.
Shift backwards and press down with your tailbone to back up to the last menu.
And to select a highlighted item, you hump the front pad with your junk...
They're calling this the Joystick / Butt-On controller
Especially first year models, they had some oil delivery issues causing catastrophic engine failure. Typically happened outside warranty.
Only issue I ever had was needing a new snubber from too many hard launches. That took months to procure. Thirsty beast as well.

Man, those feet forward controls look so sketch on the track....
