Leaving your vehicle unlocked just invites problems regardless of the value of your ride.
Some lowlife is going to see it as a easy opportunity to rifle through, vandalize or use as a outhouse. Low hanging fruit and all.
The point of my previous post was that showing off assets can make you and your possessions a target for crime.

Are we really implying that leaving your car in the driveway, is the same as leaving your vehicle unlocked?

Do you do a lot of yoga to keep limber in the off-season? Cause that's one helluva stretch lol

Nothing wrong with trying to stay flexible they say that it helps keep you feeling young.
Made the conclusion from your lackadaisical take on security "nobody would want this heap" attitude towards your ride.

Because taking a one pound item out of a truck that can fit in your pocket and be easily sold = just as easy as taking a 5,000 lb rusty truck that can't.

How to Apply <-- it's such a stretch that these guys might want to hire you lol

The key to getting a good stretch is in the warm up. JS.

If my bikes or cars gets stolen, I buy a new one. Saves me from selling it.

I average a year, only a handful for 2, 2 for 3 (S100RR, Panigale) and only 1 (H2 SX) for more than 3 years. Probably trade in my 2026 RSV4 sometime this year. Or maybe I'll add a new city specific bike.

Only a few years at a time. Riding new (to me) motorcycles is a joy for me, and there are so many bikes I want to try I can’t stay loyal to just one for long.

I also only buy used, and I enjoy the chase of researching and buying and figuring out what experiences I want to have next on the bike. It gives me something to aim at and usually the change is when I’m ready to try something new in my riding.

Used bikes are so cheap and I haven’t lost money on a deal yet, so I get to have fun and break even. It’s like when I go to Vegas and sit at the blackjack table all day - I’m not a big winner but I make enough to break even while eating and drinking my body weight in the freebies.

Now that I’m old and my health is failing, I figure realistically I have maybe 5 or 6 viable riding years left, so now it’s all about “the ones that got away” - the bikes and experiences I missed out on. Some of those are bikes I’ve continually admired through the years (I’m looking at you, CBX!). The one thing that keeps coming back to me is Harley. At least once I want to own a bike I customized myself, that is just for me, and is a “keeper,” not just another bike passing through. And not just tack-on mods like pipes and farkles, but a bike that becomes an extension of my own aesthetics and personality. Been in love with HD since I got grounded for sneaking home my first copy of Easyrider magazine back in grade school, and they’ve just never left my consciousness…
