BMW dynamic suspension

Hey.

I have a 2024 S1000R. From what i can remember the bike wouldn't let me change suspension setting while in motion for the single rider to rider with passanger. All of a sudden i can change it while in motion and the suspension feels too still. Just want to confirm before bringing it to the dealer. Anyone with a BMW with electronic suspension can test if it allows you to change between single rider and rider with passenger settings while in motion?

Had it on my '20 S1000XR, as I recall preload could not be adjusted on the move. But I could switch from Road to Dynamic suspension on the fly.
 
R1250GS and R1250RS here, both ESA. The compression and damping can be adjusted on the fly while you are riding based on the mode you select. However, preload can only be changed when stopped as @Evoex mentioned, even if it is in auto mode. When my passenger gets off when stopped, it takes a few seconds for the auto preload to level off to the new lighter load. The one helmet -> two helmet sounds like a manual preload setting, IIRC.
