I haven't been riding. Flew to Calgary for Christmas at my Daughter's. Decided to leave my bike at the dealership here while I was away. Routine maint and tracking down an annoying issue. Bike is still there waiting for some parts but I should have it back this upcoming week (weather dependant.)

ps: Forgot to mention I had that wicked cough end of November. Dr said it was Brochitis. Meds kept it under control though December but it came back and It is pretty much gone now.

Got my bike back last week Thursday aft. (Dealership did me a favour and dropped it off in my driveway.) I got home after dark and it was lightly drizzling but decided to go out for a little ride. Only went about 40 km.

Went for a more real ride today, a bit more than 400 km. Temps Started about -3c and got up to +4c briefly. Realized going down backroads wasn't fun today as there was lots of ice on them so stuck to better roads. Today's ride was Port Perry, Millbrook, Campbellford Havelock, down hwy 37 to Madoc, then old hwy two through Belleville, Trenton, to Cobourg , then more old highway 2 to Newcastle, up 35/115 and got off at 12, headed past Mosport and then home to Port Perry.

Was nice to get out and ride a bit today!

Finally found a few people on motorcycles here booting around, but most of the no-helmets on dirt bikes wheelies in the street variety. I haven't actually seen anyone out on the open roads getting from A to B.

One guy said he wanted to buy my Vulcan, but I'm not sure he (a) wasn't just extra baked and won't remember the offer tomorrow, and (b) understood that I live in Canada, not Florida where his shipper dude that can get it to the island is located. Or (c), both.

Seen a few bikes out today, Just coming from MIL and seen one at 401 westbound and Dixie.

Is that some kind of rollercoaster?
Yup. I didn't bother confirming but 0-60 launch in under 4 seconds (some reports say 2.5 but I have my doubts). Awkward riding position with your knees locked in and a panel over your back so you can't sit up.
