ALPINESTARS YAGUARA DRYSTAR JACKET

Anyone local that has the ALPINESTARS YAGUARA DRYSTAR JACKET?

Whats your opinion on it?
Does it fit on the slimmer side or on the bigger side?


I am interested in it but no local shops have it for me to see or buy.

GP Bikes carries it. I find I have to go up a size on most Alpinestars jackets.

Most companies now offer places like GP and FortNine "drop ship". You order it from GP or whoever, and the distributor
sends it to your house with a label that looks like GP sent it. You still get it in 2 or 3 days (pre COVID) and these places
don't have to carry as much stock. According to GP's website they can have it for you in large, except for Hi-Viz.

I am quite aware of the different shipping methods/options available these days.
Also, I am not afraid to hunt a product down if I really want it.

As per GP and Parts Canada, this specific jacket is discontinues my Astars.

GP's website is inaccurate. I have called them about this and the size Large (that I think will fit me) is actually not available from their distributor which is Part Canada in this case.
I have also reached out to Parts Canada to see if they can tell me which dealer, local or national would have this in stock, someone that purchased it from there. They refereed me to a shop in BC.

I spoke with the shop in BC but it looks like they only have a XL but do seem to think they can get a Large. However the gentle that I spoke with, who seems very knowledgeable said they they tend to fit smaller.

So this is why I am after someone local that has so I could possibly meet up and see it in person and try it on.

I trying to avoid purchasing a higher end jacket blind, hence why I am doing all this leg work.

Alpinestars fits real small I'm usually XL jacket Alpinestars I'm 2xl. Definantly go up one size from what your usually wear .

Does the distributor have XL in stock? If so, ask GP to get it in for you to try with no commitment. At least, that's what they've always offered to do in the past.
