Read the news about the kids in Michigan tossing rocks off an overpass resulting in somones death, makes me keep thinking how one wrong move or some terrible driver (which is common) can end my life while riding. Which sucks because i love riding. Any of you guys ever get these feels?

Any Sv owners run into this issue? Just picked up a 2005 sv650s with 19k, tachometer was fine when i got it but noticed yesterday that its not moving at all.

Just struck a deal on Kijiji for an sv650 and this guy wants 100 over e transfer as a deposit to make sure im serious. Told him no, seems sketchy to me, and now the sales off. Is it normal to send a deposit for a Kijiji sale? What do u guys think?

Most of the bikes on kijiji arent saftied but look to be in good condition - what should I watch out for looking for a used Sv650 03-09? Its that time to upgrade to somthing bigger. Not sure if financing is a good idea as i dont like to have any kind of debt. Any advice is very appreciated!!!

Well it happened, turning into a plaza to meet up with a buddy and a wasp flew into my jacket and started stinging the soul out of my neck.. thought it was a stray ciggarette butt cause i kept getting stung over and over ?

I recently changed all the fairings from lime green to white/red and I ordered some red reflective rim tape to replace the current green stripes. Just curious if i could avoid the mess of removing the old rim tape and just clean it off and stick the new rim tape over? Anyone done this before?

Curious if any of you guys run seafoam just to clean the system after winter storage, my 250 was running fine right out of storage yesterday (minus needing a new battery) but im sure the carbs arent totally clean as i never drained them, just stabilized the fuel. Your experiences? snake oil or...

Did some looking around for insurance, new rider 21 with a ninja 250. Usual places like TD were giving me laughable quotes, somhow found this Mitchellwhale brokers and they quoted me at 1740 a year which works out to like 140 a month or so.. cheaper than riders plus and anything ive found so...

New rider here, just wondering if theres any other option than puting your bike in a truck or trailer to get it to the shop for the safety so its able to get plated. like is there a one day permit you can pull?
