    clutch guard brake guards?

? Are you talking about the brake lever guard? You don't need one for the clutch lever. My only advice is to avoid the ones that attach as bar end inserts. They tend to rotate and also can tear out in a crash, leaving the sharp unprotected clip on tube exposed. I actually lost part of a...

What did you do OR have to do to your Race/Track Bike 2016

    - New crank position sensor. Hopefully that fixes the cold start issue so Kyle and Melanie stop making fun of me. It hurts my feelings. - New plugs - Oil - Washed it - Straightened the fairing stay - Tried to fix the broken plastic instrument cluster mount but got frustrated wity the PlastiFix...

    Suspension set up question

If you are actually interested in this stuff buy Andrew Trevitt's book on sportbike suspension tuning. Easy read and enough info there to get you through to amateur racing level, much less a first track day. Advice above is good. 0.9 in the forks is a bit light for your weight but it won't...

What did you do OR have to do to your Race/Track Bike 2016

One more thing I don't need to do. Because a) no radiator, and b) even if there was a radiator, indoor workshop. Jealous now? :) As for oil...I change it in the spring, and then once mid season. I figure it's enough, given the limited number of miles (even if they are the hardest miles...

What did you do OR have to do to your Race/Track Bike 2016

Having just completed a "no crash" season, my needs are minimal. 1. Figure out the electrical (?) glitch that forces me to restart the motor 25 times before it warms up. So Kyle and Melanie will stop teasing me. It hurts my feelings. 2. Find a way to remount the instrument cluster that was a...

    SOAR Rnd #4 - July 25-26

Me too. I was looking for a new challenge. Nice of Bob to supply it. My bike could easily be made competitive engine-wise with a 749. All it takes is money. The winter is long.... Or I could just learn to ride. Much cheaper, and would net me as much lap time, I'm sure!

What do you use on your leather suit?

I like to just abrade mine against the asphalt regularly. Works for me.

    Brake rotor question

+1 on the XRACs. Love them so much I bought another set for when these ones wear out. I am using them in 4p / 4p Brembo calipers, non radial. Take a little bit of heat to get working (not much) but then they are awesome.

    Brake rotor question

It doesn't matter for approximately the same reason that it doesn't matter if you have the same spring rate in both fork legs (or even close to the same spring rate). I would do it without giving it a second thought. If the rotors look really different, the worst you could be accused of is...
