No method of transportation to the track this weekend :(
So If anyone's going from the Markham/Scarborough area and have room, give me a shout! Will pitch in for gas money.
Went to see Jamie over the weekend for a reflash to correct my speedo (-1/+2)and install a quick shifter switch (danos performance) I picked up.
it's so sweet and satisfying popping every gear! Jamie took the time to help me out with a wiring issue of the quickshifter soldering pins/wires...
I decatted + a bmc filter Jamie gave me the mjs header map and it pulls hard from 10-16k. There's a slight flat spot between 8-10k but I'm super happy with the flash settings and a base map over spending more $$ for a custom map. ft-ecu ftw!
I've always wondered about the price difference between lapping day's and going flat out racing for the weekend ( entry fee's, camping gear, and tires).
Racing have always tempted me as I felt that trackdays was just missing the "full on" experience of this sport. Street riding -> Canyon...
Can also vouch for the rs10, one of my buddy's run it on a litre and his 675 and rides red group without warmers. From his judgement, typically 3-4 trackdays longetivity. Sticky and predictable slides
I took the odd approach of "what if" using my minivan and never looked back. Had to tilt the bike on the ramp to clear the windscreen and it's been smooth sailing since . :salute:
When you see a minivan show up to a track day with two bikes in it you'd be surprised! I play tetris with...
thanks for the photos Tim!
My left butt cheeks hanging in there lol. Sore as hell along with a bruised tail bone and a sore elbow.
Already picked up a new bird cage lol... tank and sub frame hunting!
