    Rosey Toes

Re: Rosey Toes - Ripped me off? +1 For $300 you were guided through the whole process from taking the bike apart to finish, that along is worth the money and you got fresh oil and filter and clean air filter and perfectly synced carb. Not a bad deal by any means and yes other shops charges...

    Motorcycle died

Besides the charging system, you should check your spark plugs as well. Back fire means unburn gas that got pumped out to the exhaust header and continue to burn off or partialy burn off while going through the cat converter, it's very bad for the cat if your bike has one. Check the spark...

    Front Brake Drag

Well, now that the parts are clean and the pistons still lazy, you need to now rebuild your caliper, it's just as easy but a few more steps of taking it apart, you will need the caliper piston seal rings, normally 2 on each piston. They are very cheap and you can get them at your local dealer...

    2006 GSX-R 750, Akrapovic exhaust set-up...

Idealy, you want to match your air intake and exhaust (flow) to the fuel injection, without a dyno or a measurement of how much more air are moving through your engine, maybe you can email Akrapovic and see if you get an answer of how much increase in % and then you would want to match the fuel...

    Stopping the engine

I mostly use my kill switch when I am at a red light and want to talk to my buddy next to me because my bike is too darn loud.

    Front Brake Drag

you don't need that special tool in the video, just squeeze the brake lever and the piston will come out, squirt some oil if its not coming out smoothly, DO NOT use W40 as it's know to do harm to rubber seals. I use Dupon Teflon Lube and it works like charm, also loosen up brake dusts and it...

    Front Brake Drag

Here is what you can do to see if it will solve the problem, if not a complete rebuild is required and basically you just take it all apart and clean it well and change the seal rings on the pistons, also inspect for any wear or gauges on the piston surface...

Could be a lazy piston in the caliper, when was the last time you rebuilt the clamps?

    Stopping the engine

It does not matter, I always use the key to turn bike off and put it in my pocket before I get off my bike, you won't believe how many times I left the key on the bike when I used to use kill switch

2000 RC51 rear break light issue

If there are no power in the wires there is a bad connection some where, or the line is pinched somewhere even though the wire shell isn't broken If you are close to Scarborough/Markham area, I can help you check with multimeter, I am a licensed electrician and I do lots of stereo and power...

Front end shakes while downshifting ????

Check your fork seal and also increase the damping in the back, it sags too much that's why the weight transfer with engine brake made the front end loose. Also, when you give it a good tug, move your shoulders foward (pull your weight forward), not sticking your butt backwards. The headset...

    FYI: Cheap frame sliders

I am not sure what kind of frame slider this guy uses, but it looks like the damage was pretty bad, the slider held up good though not much damage there on the slider itself but the bike looks bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX9jUWRqr-4&feature=relmfu
