Any reason why you're looking at all these new models for the first bike? I mean nothing wrong with that, but chances are that you'll still drop it. Personally, I'd buy a used first bike, then move onto a bigger/better/whatever in a couple of years, then I'd look at new. There are so many good...

Are you jobless by any chance? Because for most of us, we would have to spend our money filling out paperwork, going to court, etc, so at least a day wasted.

If you want SS (some people don't even consider it SS), get CBR600 F4i - I had '06 and it was the most comfortable of all SS to me - installed Corbin seat on it eventually. Otherwise, SS-looking, VFR800 is very comfortable.

So I showed up around 8:45 to BPS for Suzuki demo. They started registering people around 9 for 10 o'clock ride. Every model was available, we probably had like easily 15 bikes in the group, they did not limit people to full M for Gixxers, but still at least asked how much experience people had...

From experience most people will want supersports. I am going to try cruisers...
