-Stock charging system went out on my way back from Kingston $$$$$$
-Ignition needed replacing $$$$$$
-Got fed up and bought a new wiring harness $$$$$$

Nothing safe about riding around with a 40 year old chain and tires, worn sprockets and no rear break pads. "Vintage" Vehicles should be more scrutinized.
Same thing happened to me, cruising to work. Just opened up the throttle, jetting south on Dufferin to get to work, BAM, hit a wasp. Got me right in the neck.
Of course this gives me a reason to buy a scarf
Don't feel bad, I dropped mine in my garage onto a ladder and but a rather large dent into the tank. Center stands are tricky after a long tiring trick.
