If I'm supposed to change oil and filter before and after winter, can I just put a cheap oil and filter in over winter and get a good one for the spring time?

I ride dirt bikes recreationaly and I road race, how hard is it to get used to running d.o.t or slick tires on dirt? I have a kx 85 Supermoto but ive never tried actual supermoto riding, just on road course.

I'm new to racing, this will be my first under suit, Ill probably be a small or medium.

Re: SOAR Round 3 I'll be running NuSpeed and GTL endurance again I might run 2 stroke because the last two times it's bassicly been an empty track, good practice:). And there's lots of kids around that your daughter could play with.

It's a race bike and during a race I don't want to search around for the petcock because I'm paying attention to what's infont of me. Unless there would be a way to convert the petcock to one of the switchrs that is on the handlebar, that would work for me.

I have a first Gen ex 500 and want to add something that let's me know Im low on fuel, a light or anything that works. Doesn't have to be a full out Guage.

I was taking off the kickstand and found two wires attached and im assuming it's a kickstand safety switch and im wondering how I disconnect these wires properly so that the bike thinks the kickstand is up. Or if it's not a kickstand switch what is it?
