I definitely agree with your point. The aftermarket exhausts don't meet emissions requirements. I will probably sell the akra as i could use the money for better things. Its a ninja 300 I don't care about being the fastest slow bike. I'm just looking for a mechanic thats able to do a house call...

I said exactly that. I told them from the start that it has no performance upgrades and just makes the exhaust sound different. They didn't care and kept saying the same thing about its a performance upgrade. You can't reason with them once they made their mind up

The R3 is on my watch list but I'd much rather have a bike with ABS. I really got to see the difference in braking with and without ABS when i did my M2 course. Sadly only newer R3's have the abs so im really focusing on ninja 300, cbr500 and sv650s abs models

Ya that's pretty much the first thing i did once i found the bikes i liked. The ninja was 1500 for the year full coverage, Sv650 is 2000. im 21 just got my m2 in the fall. Im part of the OSPE so the discount with Personal insurance is pretty good.

I'll definitely take a look at the fz6. Im looking at the sv, ninja 300, cbr500 and r3. Just looking for the best deal out of those

Ya I'm definitely looking for the abs models. I spotted another 2007 for $3700. Can these be found for $3000 or should i expect to pay $4000+ for an abs sv650?
