Agree with fyrebug!
A scooter is honestly the most practical vehicle even when compared to cars. My first two wheel vehicle was a Honda Reflex NSS250 Scooter. The used cost was like $4000 back than, and the cost of insurance when I was 20 is relatively cheap for my age $800. It has storage...
Thanks! I was hoping to get it set up before going to the racetrack, but that's cool.
I'll reply to this thread once I get a setting down for other starlane users on GTAM to use later on. Most likely next year
Hey guys,
I recently got a Starlane GPS laptimer. The model I have is the Stealth GPS-2.
Does anyone have a ltg file of the race tracks in Canada or even USA that they would share?
Atm I'm having problem with the DigiRace software. I can plot the start/finish line, intermediate 1, 2, and 3 on...
but back to the topic....I think I speak for most riders interested in the CBR400R here.
If Honda makes a CBR400R that is sporty looking like their supersport or superbike and a bike that is as flickable as the 250 with twice it's power.... I'm pretty sure a lot of us would consider getting one...
The 400R is unattractive because it is basically the ninja 650R but with a smaller engine. So why go for the 400R when you can get the 650 for a bit more?
A lot of people who "downsize" or get another bike is mostly because they know what they're looking for after finally getting their dream...
I think the OP should just get the ZX6R. From most people I meet... riding is really about showing off and/or trying to find a new hobby. All the props from me regardless, as long as they respect the other drivers and riders out there. It is a passion to own something very very fast, which is...
Another reason why you don't see many high mileage bike on the internet is because not many people will buy it for what it's worth.
Since the only way to attract any buyer for a quick sale is to lower the price sub $1000, most rider would rather keep their bike and just buy a new one. That or...
Hey! if anyone want a contourHD PM me. Just pay me the price I paid for it at $170 from Bestbuy, you'll get the receipt as well. I just realized the contourHD isn't going to work for what I want it to do without a bit of work.
I live near Bayview and Highway 7. Just thought I offer some of you...
From a dirt bike perspective, I have to say the absence of engine sound is pretty good. Less people will complain about it, and we'll probably have more motocross tracks.
+1 on BT45, had them stock on my ninja 250. used it for commuting 14,000 km and 3 track days... Still plenty of tread left before I sold it. And I was able to drag my knees pretty well with those tires.
I heard other ninja 250 owners who had to replace them much earlier from commuting...dunno...
is it the clips that fit right behind and clipped onto the brake pad? or the spring plate that rest on the piston? if it's the spring plate, you don't really need it. It's just there to reduce the noise when your brake (e.g. without it...you'll hear the click sound when you release the brake)...
+1 I ride a SV650, and if you think the R6 is heavy...than I don't know many bikes you can ride that is 600cc + lol.
I love my SV650, and it's perfect for me. The throaty sound of the V twin is awesome + low end torque is great for commuting everyday. Compare to a R6, than yeah it is sort of a...
