I bought an '07 M50 new coming back into riding after 15+ yrs thinking a cruiser would be what I wanted to ride. Like others have said, it's a mid-size cruiser so as a cruiser Handling won't Be great nor will stopping power. But it's easy to ride, has lots of torque and good for city riding...

Sad to see another GTA dealership go down, even if it was a Harley dealership. I'd been in HD Toronto a few times mainly looking at the Ducatis...beautiful place, brand new building and it was huge. Too bad.

It'll be interesting to see the answer to your question. If purchased in the U.S. does the warranty transfer over? All you'd need to pay is 13% HST at the border right?

I'm also 5'9 and wondered whether I'd need to install risers. I've sat on one in the dealership and can almost flat foot it on both sides but didn't think to check the reach so thanks for pointing that out. I wonder whether any dealerships would offer a demo ride? I'm an experienced rider...

Sad to hear. As I understand it Rob Couto is the GM there. He used to be GM of SOB when it was good. Hopefully they can sort out the issues. I was hoping to get my next bike there...

Had great experiences with SOB. Bought 2 bikes from Tom (I hear he's not in the bike dept anymore?!) and Mark is excellent. Danny in parts was always good to me also. Let's hope BP will be as good. Has any of the SOB Staff moved over? I'll have to check out the new web site I guess.

+1 on the PR 2's. I've got almost 20K on my set and they haven't squared off yet! Excellent tire. I get my tires from Pete's as well. Hard to find them cheaper anywhere else. Although I did pick up a set of Pilot Power 2 CT's at Royal Distributing for $269 total at their no-tax event a few...
