    Finger lakes. Waterloo New York.

Rainbow Bridge can be pretty quick sometimes, but I wouldn't want to wait too late in the am to make my move, as with the long wknd, everyone else will be trying to make that same move at the same time, which equals a huge bottleneck. On issue of bridge line reports, I use them frequently and...

    Riding with a BACKPACK?

For just your work clothing, something quite basic will work fine. It won't be weighty, so you don't need anything much more than a basic type. Remember, if you commute regularly by bike, you'll sometimes encounter rain, so get a large plastic bag, ziplock type bag, whatever to keep what you...

    Concrete falling from Gardiner again

All true. But, I beleive the Boston experience provides potential for learning & improvement on future plans in other cities and was pretty much a worst-case for a lot of the things that can go wrong. Costs do come down as the processes and logistical issues are optimized, automated and...

    Concrete falling from Gardiner again

Well, I subscribe to the adage 'either pay me now or pay me a lot more later'. And this current configuration will be a money hole that just becomes worse. If you ask me, the traffic nightmares down there and perpetual repairs/construction has put a huge curb on travelers & tourists visiting...

    Concrete falling from Gardiner again

I don't really consider this news.. Its mentioned on the Toronto news at least a few times a year, despite regular inspections and controlled chipping away of weak spots. No financially feasible way to save this aging hulk. Time to raze this relic/eyesore and possibly consider a tunnel instead.

    Teknic Motorcycle Gloves (2XL)

Same price... I may be able to save someone interested the trouble of making pick-up ~1 hr away though.. A good chance I will be up near the downtown area of Toronto in a couple wks time. It would likely be a Friday in the am, so those would be the particulars of where and when I'm...

    Teknic Motorcycle Gloves (2XL)

Still at $60... Maybe I should cue a bit of music here.. Tom Petty - The Waiting ....the waiting is the hardest part.. Summer is half over folks, I'm sure some people are riding around with worn out or ill-fitting gloves. Here's your upgrade.. I'm in Niagara Falls, so convenient location if...

Toronto to Adirondacks, Gaspe, Ottawa - Help me out

I think a can of bug spray can be good for times your stopped in wooded areas or if camping. Also, the odd band-aid or polysporin cream to treat a cut or something never hurt.

    Americade Curse Continues

Your luck does seem pretty bad while down there. Hit Sturgis instead!

    Footing a fellow Rider

Yeah. Would be quite an extra load/added strain on the motor of the towing bike, I'd imagine. You'd figure a bike + rider being towed has to be at least an additional 600lbs of weight (more with a large displacement V-twin). The strain and potential to cause engine damage would depend on engine...
