Straight forward question - how long do I have after getting my M2 before I have to take M road test or risk having to start all over?
If that is what happens, that is... I can't find any clear information on that.
worn for only a couple of months last year, but am looking to get a large one instead for this season for more comfort, so selling this one.
purchased for almost $600 after taxes, and it's yours for $350 o.b.o. with both clear and dark shields (dark one was $50 extra on its own).

Going back to this - I am thinking of parking my '06 GSXR downstairs in the condo's underground parking too over the winter, as it's quite warmer than outside (hell, I can walk around in a t-shirt and I wouldn't know what the weather is like outside from the garage).

whoa, whoa, whoa... let's backtrack there a bit and let me ask you a question - which insurance company did you get that $89/month quote with?
trying to bring my 2006 gixxer over to Toronto (from Cali) and insure it in Canada instead of US (can't beat State Farm in Cali, though... full...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a612zmLuYV0
apparently it costs only $32 or something (confirmed with DMV today) to take both.
and they don't even have a full M test. this is it. written test, road...
Update -> found out that I can register a bike in California without a Cali license after all (just confirmed with DMV) - they will accept my Canadian license just fine. Checked into the insurance as well, and apparently I can get that with my Canadian license only as well (a few hundred bucks...
