Hey everyone, I signed up a year ago hoping to attend one of the group rides, but never could since I worked during the afternoons, or didn't feel experienced enough to join a group ride. Nevertheless, once you guys decide on a firm location and time, I hope I'll make it.

Can't Find a Rear Stand for My CBR 250R

Do you know of they sell that type of 'open' pad separately for the swing arm? I like the pad style, but I'm not a big fan of the fold-able stand, since it has no wheels, and it might collapse on me. Also about how much is it? And Shipping? I live in Barrie.

Can't Find a Rear Stand for My CBR 250R

That's the one I have, but the metal bronze bracket is thicker than pictured? How can I buy the one beside it, the one that folds?

Can't Find a Rear Stand for My CBR 250R

Well, the arm of the Rear Stand fits to size, but the "bracket" that holds the swing arm is to thick. There is Friction with the edge of the Wheel and the bracket on the right side of the Bike. The Left is ok.

Can't Find a Rear Stand for My CBR 250R

Does anyone know where I can get a Rear Stand for a 2011 250 CBR? I bought one but it's too big. I don't have spools, but I might have to install them. Thanks.

Just got my 1st bike! A few questions....

Same here, I'm still not convinced that my bike can lean very far. Even though I see others do it. There are a bunch of reasons why I ride but I'll narrow it down, it's a pretty awesome and amazing/rewarding feeling I get while I ride. Isn't that why we all ride? Pure joy and fun! It's man. LOL...

Just got my 1st bike! A few questions....

Hey, I tried that going down hill while giving a bit of throttle. This time the ride down was fun and smooth vs jerky. Does anybody's seat get warm after riding? I don't know why, but today I noticed my seat was hot?

Where do you guys normally go? I think someone mentioned there is a meet up on Thursdays at Timmies, normally. Also where/how long are the rides? I ask cause I don't want to slow anyone down.

Just got my 1st bike! A few questions....

I have also noticed that my left turns, suck, I mean they are just sluggish. Had the driveway been a foot shorter I would have hit the curb! I think I know my problem, I forget to keep my eyes up and to look beyond the turn, once I'm close to the curb and realize that I'm about to hit it, I...

Just got my 1st bike! A few questions....

Thanks! I will try that. I guess I get bored running in the lot, an I just end up cursing around the city. HAHA, I know, I know. Counting to 3? I don't know what you mean by that.

Just got my 1st bike! A few questions....

Hey everyone, I just got my CBR250 yesterday and it's a lot of fun. I have a lot of practice to go and areas I need to improve on. For example smooth shifting, I'm still jolting when I shift. Sometimes it's smooth and sometimes it's not. Also dealing with dumb drivers. The posted limit is 50 and...

Is being nervous on a bike normal? Or a sign to get off lol

You know, when I did a demo ride on the CBR250, I found it so much easier to operate then the 125CBR, I was shocked. I found the friction zone with no problems and this is a bigger bike compared to the 125, and I felt 100% in control. I guess the course bikes get dropped so many times that it...

Is being nervous on a bike normal? Or a sign to get off lol

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think when I buy the bike (which will be in the next few weeks) I'll have to ask someone to drop me off and they'll follow behind me. As far as getting arrogant on a bike, I don't think that will happen...all of the cockiness disappeared when I stalled over 100...
