i remember years ago when buying a vehicle from Quebec, I didn't need the UVIP and paid tax on the amount I declared on the bill of sale.
Close to buying a car from Quebec and wondering if this is still the case?
Have you bought a quebec vehicle recently? Did you need UVIP? what value was...
my RV-125 is getting dusted off and put on the road this year finally :)
Tons of parts on Ebay but a lot of them are in Thailand and/or priced in American dollars
Is there a good shop either physical or Online in Ontario where I can buy new and used Parts for my vintage Suzuki? :)
lolol well its definitely not at Rider's Choice - twice the price of TD!!!!
maybe worth bringing my Auto insurance over to TD so I can actually be eligible for motorcycle insurance…
such a hassle
I had my hopes pegged on TD which gave me some great quotes a couple months ago…. now they are telling me they won't do a single motorbike Policy.
Dalton Timmis more expensive than even State farm..
So far State Farm / Certas has 'cheapest' prices for me…. but should be able to get cheaper...
I think part of the motorbiking lifestyle is your state of mind and your attitude! I have always been Positive about my love for bikes and have had a great going on 13 years riding experience with very few negatives.
Insurance IS expensive! I agree, the prices in Ontario are pure rip off...
Is it still 'no specific age' but feet must comfortably reach footrests or has the law changed?
what is the youngest child you have taken on your bike? :)
sounds interesting!! is it expensive to go? do you camp out by the races or? is it like a big bike rally too with loads of bikers going there to watch?
You hit the nail on the head!! Definitely a different mentality over on this side of the Pond, drivers get jealous or angry at 'reckless bikers'
I guess it really comes down to history where motorbiking has always been more of a pleasure sport over in 'rich' North America with cheap gas...
haha I wish!!! sometimes I wake up in cold sweats… flashbacks of 140km/h speed limits!!! (where everyone goes 180km/h….) lane splitting… and other fun stuff we can truly only dream of here in snowy canada ;)
some good responses.. I will 'play it safe' like Dumbo the Safety Elephant used...
