cleaned my garage up at last and tried to start my sportster and all i got was lights blinking. Did a battery load test and 10v sigh... i should've just removed the battery and charged it instead of relying on the terminal.
I use Google docs so I can access it anywhere. I can easily switch between phone and computer as it auto saves and updates changes.
I'm replacing fork seals the first time and Im worried I'll mess it up even with several yt videos lol.
I don't think id brave the weather to visit a location today. Thanks for the heads-up. I'm assuming 5w40 buckets is the jaso-ma/ma2 rated? Been a while since I checked.
Just a random garage thought while sitting and staring at my bike. My research has lead me to you needing to be a member of CMA and to participate in some events to gain exp. Then you'd have to contact fim and they'd give you the details on how to get licensing along with the documentation...
Random Harley boots on sale for $100. Barely wore them since they were thin materials, shorter/slimmer toe (looks good) despite being described as a riding boot. They make good boots for a sport bike tho. I ride in Allen Edmonds boots now.
interesting that makes a lot of sense. everything the previous owner did does line up with what im seeing now and what ive read through forums. ill take a look into the umbrella valves/rocker gaskets.
thanks
an old 92 sportster. i hear they like to leak oil after sitting for a while and will be ok if ridden consistently. just wanted to know what kinda mess im in now lol.
which bikes were they? i sold my 2nd gen sv650 for what i paid for because everyone was selling it at a higher price at the beginning of the riding season.
