Finding a replacement brake lever for a Triumph Street Triple

I took a spill on my bike and snapped my brake lever. Does anyone know a good place (pref downtown Toronto) to find a cheap replacement brake lever for a 2010 Triumph Street Triple R? I'm having a surprisingly hard time finding anything online that isn't $100+.

Backed into while parked. Is it worth it to report?

I went to a police station today and they also told me I could go to a CRC, but my evidence wasn't very strong. I think I'm going to just get it repaired on my own dime, and try to find Joe and give him some beer.

Backed into while parked. Is it worth it to report?

I will try this tomorrow before I call for a tow. The bike had been righted by Joe before he left the note. I left it there overnight and took the streetcar home because it was unrideable. So at least I can get photos of the bike at the scene to show the police tomorrow, which I guess is better...

Backed into while parked. Is it worth it to report?

I did call the police (non-emergency number), and they told me to just take to to the collision reporting centre.

Backed into while parked. Is it worth it to report?

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I left out one important detail. The person who wrote the note to me didn't leave his name and number, he only signed off, "my name is Joe and I live in the shelter behind you". All around my downed bike were unmarked houses. I think I may know which one he's...

Backed into while parked. Is it worth it to report?

Someone backed into my motorbike and tipped it over while I was in class. I came out and someone else who witnessed it left a note with the car's license number and description. As far as I can tell my engine is flooded, the clutch cable is snapped and the clutch lever is bent. My bike is only...

Front brake failure 4 days after being safetied - shop's fault?

Here it is. Pretty distinct because it's a 1990 GS500 but I believe with one of the newer, larger gas tanks: http://i.imgur.com/yZvlNsb.jpg

Front brake failure 4 days after being safetied - shop's fault?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I wasn't trying to blame the shop, it actually gives me more peace of mind knowing that it wasn't their fault. I'll probably take it back in and get it fixed up. Someone asked what kind of bike - it's an old GS500. It looks like it's been thrown off a building a...

Front brake failure 4 days after being safetied - shop's fault?

Hello everyone, I'm very new to motorcycles so I thought I'd get some advice from some wiser and more experienced riders. I bought an old used moto and took it to my closest shop to get safetied. Four days after I pick it back up, I'm practising emergency braking in a parking lot and brake fluid...

    WTB: GS500E front wheel

Long shot but I'm trying to find a new front wheel for my 1990 GS500E - the rim on my old one is bent. Any early model GS500 wheel should work. If anyone has one lying around, call or text me at 647 705 6716. Thanks!

Insurance for a Canadian rider buying a motorcycle in Europe

I'm searching for a company that will insure my motorcycle if I buy a bike in the UK to ride across Europe. I'll be riding with a Canadian license and an IDP - both valid over there. Buying and registering the bike won't be a problem - I've already looked this up - I just need insurance...
