How to sell my bike in Toronto - dealers, private

That would be amaze balls but I have no idea how to find that. Does anyone know a mobile safety that will come to my place?

How to sell my bike in Toronto - dealers, private

I got the UVIP and posted more pix. I’m not sure if I can safety the bike and that’s why I’m letting it go as is for so cheap. It should pass safety but I have no time to take it in and I’m not 100% sure. The tread on the tires is excellent but I know some shops are picky signing off on older tires

How to sell my bike in Toronto - dealers, private

I lost interest in riding. I’ve got a CBR250 posted on kijiji but I’ll probably lose patience with it and just offload the bike some other way. Can anyone suggest any shops or dealers where I could offload this for cash? I realize I’ll take a huge hit at a dealer, but seeing as I got a good...

    Question on lane splitting

^^this. Unfortunately I think this is what it came down to. Although It was an unmarked car, I could see it was a police car and i made what I thought was an appropriate pass. I even stopped behind the police car before deciding it was safe to diagonally move into the left lane. But you raise...

    Question on lane splitting

I narrowly avoided a ticket for apparently what would be referred to as “filtering” at a downtown intersection today. In my estimation, I was passing a police car who was in the right line, on his left, in stopped traffic. I did not drive between two lanes of vehicles, I crossed over the dotted...

    Dalton Timmins policy cancelled

Yes where is the thread. Couldn’t find it either. Found a policy for about the same price as my Aviva policy ($5 more a month or so). It’s with Echelon. So it looks like the imperative to get rid of the bike isn’t there.

    Dalton Timmins policy cancelled

Have to draw the line somewhere. From $660 to $900 is already a big jump, to think most places are quoting me $1100 or more. I found a quote at $500/year thru Dalton, I am going to pursue and see what it works out to be with accident benefits and tweaking all my deductibles.

    Dalton Timmins policy cancelled

This is sh#@tty. Just got the same letter. I was paying a mere $660/year in Toronto conviction free for my CBR250 on an M2. Now I have an M but one minor conviction. Can't find anything under $1000 now. Not sure what to do, sell my bike or keep hunting for a rate, anything around $900 would be...

Motorcycle Parking Fee 2015 – Response Coordination Thread

Thanks for checking. I am pretty sure this proposal is dead until they go to a license plate system on-street with a new IT system and new machines. And seeing as they just enabled pay-by-phone parking and put all those 4 digit code stickers on the existing machines, I think a "charge for...

Motorcycle Parking Fee 2015 – Response Coordination Thread

As long as the old machines exist with the paper slips and do not use license plates, we are fine. However, if they are changing the on-street machine interfaces to accept license plate entries as they add app capabilities, then we are likely toast soon unless they keep motorcycles exempt. Is...

Finally happened - car backed into my parked bike and knocked it over....

It's about time for general servicing on my bike I think. I don't want to change the oil myself as I think it was done wrong by the previous owner. I would also like to get my front suspension and handlebars inspected as a result of the tip-over. I am in downtown Toronto and both cyclewerx and...

Finally happened - car backed into my parked bike and knocked it over....

Dammit. Finally happened to me too. Had a tricolour CBR250 for about a year now. And I'm a Stickler for keeping it pristine. Parked where I park every day at work, and this time at the end of a row on the street, in hopes this wouldn't be as likely to happen as when I leave it stuck between...
