    KTM 790 Adventure R

I like it! Since the 1090R is about $15.5k wouldn't this be $2-3k below that? In any event it's nice to have new bikes to drool over.

    KTM 2T's vs Others

I have been riding KTM 2 strokes for the past 10yrs and drive out to Colorado once a year with a group of guys. From what I have witnessed the KTM's handle a beating (cartwheeling down a hill) and survive to ride several days. A few guys have brought Japanese bikes and they don't seem to handle...

Some noob questions regarding Enduro Gear..

All good comments above. I started riding with what I thought was good safety gear and after each crash I would learn what I needed for MY style of riding (probably Gumby style). I would highly suggest trying on the products together if possible. For example I have a short neck and find certain...

    Simcoe county forest or Ganny?

I agree on supporting both. I have annual memberships to both but have only managed to ride Simcoe once this year to check out the new Wildman Tract. We need to support the areas or we risk losing them. I do most of my regular riding at Steel City Riders club track and trail. Going to the Ganny...

    Simcoe county forest or Ganny?

You receive a plastic card (credit card with date code) that you are expected to carry and a parking sticker (not sure if it is needed or not).

    Simcoe county forest or Ganny?

Exactly what doozerdave said.... Simcoe has great tracts/trails but they are smaller parcels of land with a main trail. The Ganny is so big that I constantly get lost riding single track. The singletrack varies between west (rocks, roots, leaves, tight) and east (pine trees, sand, flowing). I...

Where to ride in the US during the winter?

I would recommend http://highlandparkresort.com Located in Georgia it is approx an hour drive from the Atlanta airport (short flight from Pearson) or you can drive with your own bike. This location has a large KTM dealer and they rent bikes (MX and Enduro) which you can ride from 9am to 4pm on...

    Tire Suggestions for Ganny?

I have been using the Michelin M12 XC for a few years now and they wear very slow. I haven't had any knobbies tear off on the rocks and I run them between 10-12lbs. The Ganny single track is so much fun!!!! Cheers

    Ganny Questions

I am going to try doubling up the screen that doozerdave's video showed. I have an '08 KTM 250 xcw which does not have bolts at the of the silencer so I am not sure whats in there. This should be a simple process but I supect I'll turn it into a multi-day event! Go away snow....I can't wait to...

    Ganny Questions

Thank you for the responses. I will try retrofitting a S.A. for my bike. A buddy has bought a new Husqvarna and they don't come with a spark arrestor either.

    Ganny Questions

A few years ago I rode in the Ganny and it had some spectacular single track. I am eager to ride there again this year and introduce some friends to the trails. I have renewed my Ganny pass and have insurance and registration for my 2 stroke. In reading the Ganny website I noticed that bikes...

    Horseshoe Riding Adventures

I took my sons there at age 5 and 6. Great experience. However I would agree with the earlier post that you would probably enjoy something more advanced. I ride mainly dirt and would consider myself advanced but was completely humbled at the Shane Watts course at Trail Tours in Pontypool a few...
