can't say from experience but perhaps continue to shop around with different insurance brokers.. any chance your folks can bundle your ride in with their policies? continue to ask questions is all I can say.. and more time on two wheels for more experience is always a good thing… happy hunting...
on the must do list when you get to BC... the sea to sky highway 99 Vancouver past Whistler to Lillooet you can take the long way up further or head back down the other side on hwy 12 to Lytton connect to hwy 1 past Hells Gate to Chilliwack and west again along hwy 7... did that run last summer...
will be keeping an eye on this thread if you don't mind, you're in my area.. Royal York and Lakeshore... KLR650 with the obnoxious high vis jacket (can you see me now!) cheers
I'd emailed the EOTA (Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance) website to ask about the trail use and here was the response "You can ride a licensed offroad motorcycle on the trails, and yes you need a pass. Kelly"
There is an option to just buy a one day pass for $20 on line and print it out.
Finding gear for girls is tough sometimes, when I started I got my gear from the Toronto Motorcycle show, at least I could try everything on.... I'd just gotten my summer hi-viz mesh jacket online here:http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/ good luck and happy shopping.
