wow....... why has no one told OP how much of an idiot he is for even considering riding w/o insurance??? likeliness of getting pulled over = slim (imho) likeliness of getting into a collision = high (new rider, lazy/sloppy drivers on the road) consequences: getting pulled over = $5k min fine...

1) you won't get a "reasonable" quote for quite some time.. I'm 21 and have been licensed since 19 and i still feel like insurers are strangling me for everything iv got 2) i don't know anything about the bike you want to insure... but if you are set on getting something this season get a 250cc...

First time replying using tapatalk lol... Forgive me if i quoted the entire post I was looking to spend between $4,500-5,500 for a CBR, preferably w/ a nice exhaust and FE ( those are really the only mods i care about). I did find one cbr for $5.5 with 24km ... Thinking i should go check it...

I wsa in the same dilemma lol... From what I've seen, and experienced you can't go wrong with a CBR600RR. Everyone will have their own opinions, but the CBR is really one of those bikes that comes out on top as reliable, and easier to commute on (which is a priority for you).
