You don't have to have your insurance with SF. SF's finance company is a separate entity.

    ‘Generous’ accident benefits?

But for minor injuries such as bumps, bruises, cuts and sprains, why would it cost $3000 + ? Why would you need assessments done in the first place, or rehab for these types of injuries? I've done worse to myself around the house and haven't had to seek assessments or treatment for it.

Does State Farm allow Installments in Payments?

If you are on a monthly payment plan where your payment automatically comes out of the bank each month, you only have to pay one month to start. If you are on monthly but are sent a bill to pay each month, they require two months up front.

Any Life Insurance specialists out there?

I think if you've had medical underwriting done by one company, if you provide an authorization, a second company could access that info.

    State Farm got crazy (car)

Sorry if you thought that, but I get daily phone calls from people who can't seem to understand their bills, or perhaps can't be bothered to read them, so that's the standard answer I give.

    State Farm got crazy (car)

Your policy may increase on renewal but beyond that, monthly rates aren't randomly increased with no explanation. When your policy increases or decreases on renewal, you will get that in the mail usually 4-6 weeks in advance of the renewal date so that IS your notice that your premium is...

    State Farm got crazy (car)

Did your agent review your bill and explain what you're being charged extra for? Bear in mind that the date your auto renews takes place and the date that you make your monthly payments are not always the same date. so your policy may have renewed at a higher amount mid-September but if you...

    State Farm got crazy (car)

State Farm auto policies renew every six months so that is the only time you should see any rate changes. There are no policy change fees. Have you made any changes in coverages, changed vehicles mid-term, removed other policies that would impact your auto discounts, or added drivers to the...

    State Farm - Ticket Policy

I'm not aware of exact percentages. If you're in A plan, a minor ticket usually doesn't affect anything but two could have you moved to B plan. New business can't be A plan if you have any tickets in the last 3 years or at-fault accidents in the last 6 years. You must have a full G license...

    State Farm - Ticket Policy

Tickets are on your record for three years, so if you have more than two in three years, you're ineligible. Points have NO bearing on insurance. That's an MTO thing.

    Ending a policy.

I would ask for an email confirmation that it's not renewing, just to CYA.

What insurance company does fire / theft only ? Don't need liability or collision

I don't know if this helps but with State Farm, it's an annual policy where you get to make 12 equal monthly payments. For example, say your insurance is $1,200 per year. You pay $100 a month for the year. You use up 16% of the annual premium in a month like July, so $192. In January, you...

Insurance question about supersport and cruisers

You have to have your G license for 5 years and a minimum of your M1 to even be eligible for a State Farm policy. The big savings is if you're over age 25 and/or you have your car insured there too.
