Actually - where do you ride when lane is 1-1/2 lanes wide? I have been on some residential 40 km/hr streets with extra wide lanes and have had idots in cars try to pass me on the right when I am already going 10 km/hr over the limit....pisses me off!!

FYI - did the M1 exit today and all went well. Just wanted to thank all those who responded to my original question...very helpful! Now 22 months of M2!!

I measured to the opposing edges of the squares.... Vespa? With a Vespa you need to have a blindfold to do the test;)

Was in Brampton today and I passed by there (not with bike) to have a look. At the risk of being called anal, I measured the last set of "squares" to be just under the 1 metre apart criteria in the Ministry handbook (actually 0.89 m or 35 inches) with the last 2 sets of squares set approx. 4.2...

Thanks for the reply - I actually already read that, confirming the dimensions in the ministry guide. But some people I know told me the spacing is more like 12 feet not over 14 feet as per the ministry guide. Wanted to know if any one who did or administers the test had insights on whether it...

Can someone confirm the spacing of the cones for the M1 exit test? The ministry's guide says two sets of cones 1 metre apart, with each set 4.5 metres apart. Can someone please confirm this - as people that have taken the test tell me the cone sets are actually around 12 feet (or 3.65 metres...
