    Quebec Routes?

Been watching this thread as I was leaving for Quebec at the same time. I made it to Lac Saint-Jean in two days, and although I made several rest stops, I was mainly hauling *** most of the way but as much off the major highways as possible. Good to test my limits, but I agreed with a lot of...

Time-sert / helicoil: Any recommended mechanics or a friendly forum member I can rent

Hi all... I've got a stripped spark plug hole on my 1969 CB350. (Yes. I was stupid). I've got the cylinder head off, and looking for any recommendations on somebody that could install a "Time-sert" for me in GTA or surrounding area. A mechanic or a friendly forum member. I hear time-serts are...

    Superbike Mosport Race Aug 15-17

If like last year, if you go Saturday, you will be forced to buy a ticket for the two days (as in, since you can basically camp there overnight). However, when you leave Saturday all you need to do is tell the people at the gate your not coming back and you get the Sunday money back.

    Useful apps while touring?

So this thread has also informed me about this winding road Tom Tom feature which seems perfect for how I ride. Question for the iphone users, is the disk space and price really worth it considering the free options (minus winding road)? I also looked at the screenshots in the App Store, and was...

    Useful apps while touring?

"Fog of world", just checked it out. Clever, and speaks to me, but a bit steep at 4.99. Do you need this open at all times to record?

    Motorcycle Mounts

I have a RAM mount. The one with the "finger grip" holder. I agree you should always take it with you as mine has an arm and wing nut which makes it all easily removable. It's held my phone perfectly (and I only use four of the "fingers", not six plus the top and bottom holders with my iphone...

    Careful of kijiji mechanic

Thanks all. Durham is a bit far for me... However I'm in touch with Jeff at The Local Wingnut that TC Moto kindly recommended. I'm in North York. I'll report back!

    Careful of kijiji mechanic

Hi all. I too am looking for a vintage bike mechanic for some carb work on my 69 CB350 and found an ad on kijiji that sounds familiar to the one you complained about. Can you tell me if you think this is the same mechanic? Here's the link to the ad...

    Mikuni VM30's tuning for a 1969 CB350

Hi all. I have a lovely 1969 CB350 that I rebuilt and have ridden almost daily for the past five years. However, I've been having carb issues with the stock Keihins so I picked up a Mikuni VM30 kit. I spent many hours trying to get them working as they came fitted, but gave up last season...
