I'm up for a ride, maybe half day, starting from Mississauga. But definitely not up at 6am... been too long a week to get up that early.
Heading north or northwest. 10am start? Creemore for lunch? or anywhere a few hours away...
Great trip today, guys!
Nice to have one last stop at Belfountain, with about 30 others bikers enjoying possibly the last really nice day of 2016.
Time to put the bike to bed...☻
Good fun though...and great to have guidance from in front on sand in the curves! - thanks Brian and Matt...
(and nice lunch in Kimberley - can't remember the last time I've seen $5 hamburgers on a restaurant menu!)
Sure - sounds good.
I'm new on this site - where do you usually meet at the forks? Maybe at the Credit Creek County Store, on Old Main Street, where there's usually 20 bikes parked on any nice day?
Sorry, Brian. I thought the post from you was just a suggestion..."Meeting point ... Forks for 10:00 - 10:30?" - it didn't seem like you had made a definitive plan, so I set up a formal trip on a new thread, to make it clearer.
Where were you planning on meeting at the Forks? And I can shift...
Best to set up a new thread for this trip... Anyone looking for a nice afternoon of riding to Kimberley...??
Let's start in NW Mississauga, instead of the Forks of the Credit, so we can ride up there together and enjoy the scenery.
Meet up at 9:30am at Tim Hortons (2980 Argentia Rd...
Sounds good.
This thread's getting too many trips on it. //...I'll set up a new Thread on this. Forks of Credit to Kimberley. 10:30am...maybe 11am?
John
Re: Weekend Ride Burlington 10/23
I'm busy today, but up for Saturday...
Do you want to set up a new ride thread, maybe heading to Kimberley? If so, I'll join you, and I'm sure many more will too....
Sounds good. Saturday's still looking pretty warm at 17.
Forks is good too - are we then heading north to Kimberley?
(BTW - Tuesday is predicted to be 20 degrees!!.☺)
I like the idea of Kimberly on Saturday. Maybe meet for food 2 minutes up the road from the Kimberley General Store, at the Village Inn Restaurant?
Hopefully sideroads and concession roads the whole way - there are some great routes to get there....☺
