Thankfully, haven't noticed any obvious damage. The fork alignment was a bit crooked (I just pushed it back into position; the DR650 allows for this since it has rubber-mounted handle bars), and one of my turn signal mounts was also a bit bent (same deal).
The Triumph pinned under my bike got...
Decided to take advantage of the nice weather we've been having and took my bike to work, parking it in a designated motorcycle spot beside another bike.
Long story short; I came out from work to discover my bike being parked much.....MUCH closer to the other bike than I remembered it being. To...
PSA for those considering going in 2026 - the last day to buy early bird tickets is today: $89 for weekend pass (vs. $110 regular), $35 for day pass (vs $40).
From what I gather from the Motocraft website, the Canada Rides Adventure Rally is no longer included in the day pass, but is included...
Bumping this older thread as I'm deciding between the Rally Connex spring training and the Canada Rides level 1/2 courses (they happen on the same weekend in early May this year).
Wondering if anyone has an opinion on which one is the better pick? I think they run roughly the same length of...
2026 rides: On the more realistic end, doing a few of the "Ride the Highlands" loops, especially the more ADV oriented rides. Otherwise, heading down to the Thunder Bay area would be a dream come true if I can manage to get a longer stretch of time off.
2026 gear: Bike needs a host of farkles...
Has anyone attended the GP BMW demo sell off event? Apparently it's happening today till 8pm.... was wondering how steep the discounts are on the models.
Reviving this thread - doing my M2 exit (full M) with Learning Curves soon. Wondering if anyone knows of a spot where you can rent a Comm Device?
I'm assuming my AirPods won't cut it..
As in, can anyone on the forum vouch for the Peak anti-vibration system working as intended?
Single-cylinder engines inherently produce more vibration than multi-cylinder engines, so if your iPhone camera managed to get fried by a inline 4, I'm a bit worried.
Not sure if I should pull the...
Anyone have experience with the anti-vibration system on the PeakDesign?
I've heard that big thumpers (like my DR) have a reputation for killing iphone phone cameras...
Thanks for the reply GreyGhost - I'd be happy to do the work myself (I love tinkering and have already done the basic stuff i.e. oil change)... but the issue is, I don't have a garage or the full set of tooling I'm assuming I'd need. Could take a while for the parts to arrive too (I'm thinking...
Starting a new thread in order to not derail the "Dual Sport Routes near GTA" thread (where I was panic posting last evening).
Long story short, bike died on an uphill segment.
I'm looking for advice on how to tackle the issue - or if there is a good mechanic I can take the bike to near...
