I bought this before I picked up my motorcycle and ended up buying another model.
Brand new in box/wrappings, never opened. Will fit only Honda CBR 600RR 2003 - 2004. This modification is a 'MUST' over the OEM windscreen as it deflects wind away from your chest/helmet making it much comfortable...
Waited in line for the $99 helmet deal at Kahuna but couldn't get my size. However I managed to grab one of the XS female helmet for my girlfriend hoping it would fit, but it didn't.
Anyways, I'm selling it for $200 cash picked up. Stickers are still intact on the visor, model is SHOEI QWEST...
Nope it's dried out..
I think I'm going to try that next!
Maybe that'll work as well..
I'll let you guys know how it went after I try the fine steel wool and oven cleaner..
I notice there are a lot of black dots (stains from chain lube I assume) on the bottom of my exhaust pipes. I've tried kerosene but it doesn't work...
Does anyone have any other solutions?
I bought Motul 300V as well, but I was told not to use it until Spring and that I should just use cheap engine oil for the winter (two oil change; one before winter and the other before spring).
Other people suggested just doing one oil change (before winter) and then start riding when spring...
I picked up a 2008 Ducati 848 around a month ago, and I still haven't had the chance to reach 5th gear (all city riding though)... Most of the time I'm in 1st gear and 2nd gear (3rd gear I was going 100+km/h and the engine is growling due to low rpm)..... kind of crazy..
If I do want to start it once in a while, do you think I can reach operating temperature by just letting the bike run idle (or even give it some revs)?
Anyone have experience how to winter prep a Ducati 848? The fuel tank is plastic I believe, so is it better to fill it up + fuel stabilizer or drain tank?
Also I will be changing the engine oil + oil filter, my question is should I just use cheap engine oil (I hear that I should drain it next...
Well I bought a Pitbull single swingarm rear stand a month ago and I only found out about this stand a week or so ago... I've decided to just buy the Venom front stand from the Kapsco guys... Can't justify selling the rear stand and then spend $450 on the MOTOMFG stand...
If I could do it all...
