Sorry to hear about your incident. I am a fellow GS500F owner as well. Look like your best bet is to just replace the lock assembly and just carry two keys. OEM parts for this will not be cheap. You should try searching/posting on GSTwin forum, Kijiji/Criagslist, and eBay of course. Goodluck...

Make sure choke is on too before you try to start it. GS are known to have issues to starting sometimes. Especially in the winter or cold weather :(

Great job, BrownBrady! It might not be too late but you can probably still do this. Ideally after installing a SS exhaust you would like to clean the exhaust with rubbing alcohol to remove the fingers prints before starting up the bike. Give it a nice wipe down when exhaust is cool down :)...

Hey, you are welcome :) You can try using cloud storage to keep some of your videos and free up some HDD, and HDD price are slowly climbing down :)
