My bikes stop showing estimated range once it's below ~50km, that's when I know I'm on "reserve" fuel. I did manage to run out once as I was pulling into the gas station.

S22s are not a boutique tire. I don't think Bridgestone does a quadannual production run of those.

I would 100% ask for a newer tire. I wouldn't accept anything more than a yr old. It would be different if it was heavily discounted because they're 4 yrs old, but paying full retail means you'd expect minty fresh rubber.
