Update, midnight Tuesday. Broken femur and pelvis, broken ribs and punctured lung, tendon damage in the left arm, chunks of skin missing, and required 9 units of blood. Will require more surgery and several more weeks at Sunnybrook. The good news. No head trauma, lucid and coherent.

Thanks for the explanation. Rides/rode a CBR1000 or DRZ400, one of them will be a write-off.

I believe the rider involved is a regular here, I don't know his username but his real name is Laurence or Larry, he's a part-time instructor for the m/c training at Sheridan and does the Tuesday/Wednesday night rides with some of the other regulars on this forum. No details yet but I understand...
