    I Saw You: V.2.0

Re: to the hot chick on the little green ninja I'm not at ATGATT evangelist - wear shorts if you want. But really - plumber butt is so *not* a good look on a motorcycle.... (DVP southbound at Richmond. My eyes were burning, so I didn't see the bike :-)

Adventure: Toronto to Vancouver via Canada and back via the USA

4 weeks doesn't sound like enough time! I'm driving from Vancouver to Thunder Bay in three weeks, just to give us enough time to see stuff on the way. (And then we're doing the 16-18 hour mammoth slog from T-Bay to Toronto in two days :). Have lots of fun!

    Fuel Stabilizer

It's more like 1-2 *Months*. Although depending on where you get your gas, it might already be old by the time it comes out of the ground... I use the motomaster stuff, and I've never had problems with any of the bikes or the yard tools.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

I work downtown, so we're probably going in opposite directions. I've been on the DVP a lot the last couple of weeks - everyone's on vacation!

    I Saw You: V.2.0

I drive past there (on Don Mills or Leslie) twice a day - I still ain't seen no mohawk! :)

    Atgatt

I guess I ride in different areas of town - I was surprised by how many well geared riders I saw yesterday...

Why would you park like this - not cool!

They changed the law a little while back (quietly) - it used to say "less than 60 degrees from the curb" - it now also says "more than 45 degrees". So he's technically parked illegally. OTOH I've never seen a parking enforcement guy care about these tiny details :)

    Rolling back on hills

I've heard this argued both ways over the years, for both manual cars and bikes. Why is sitting stopped in first gear better/safer than neutral?

'Cars only' sign on parking garage?!

For pay and display lots, there's no safe way to 'display' on most bikes...

Why are sellers so reluctant to get the UVIP?

You the buyer don't purchase it at all. The seller is required to provide it to you.

Why are sellers so reluctant to get the UVIP?

Oooh, a whole $20 - one of the cheaper MTO services...

Why are sellers so reluctant to get the UVIP?

A UVIP can be ordered online - they mail it to you. (you can do this with plate stickers now too!) I suspect people are reluctant simply because they don't know any better - this is still a relatively new process.

Look At MY GPS BIke Set-Up While Riding At Night

I licked my computer screen (it tastes awful, btw...) but nothing happened!

Look At MY GPS BIke Set-Up While Riding At Night

It's really easy if you're trying to cross any of the points where the grid changes direction, like say driving from Bradford to Erin. (He says in a "learn from my fail" way... )
