    lessons learned the hard way

THIS. Time spent at track days testing suspension and adjusting settings and testing (and so on...) is time well spent. Keep a log book with settings that work, so next time you return you can reset your suspension to what was working for you previously - as a baseline.

    lessons learned the hard way

Some I learned myself, some I heard other learned the hard way. If by yourself, set up so you can drive up to your pit area and access your rear stand from where you would dismount your bike. Nothing worse than standing there holding up your bike with your stand 5 feet away and out of reach...

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

Probably this. The bike likely really went down as a street bike (despite the advert) and turned into a track bike. I personally ended up paying around $300 bucks to get the title for the GSXR600 im selling, taxes, transfers, uvip, etc. Plus, its not really needed for a track bike, just helps...

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

Never said I was gonna make money back. Hense, losing 2000 bucks. That said, I'll continue to find ways to make the bike more attractive to prospective buyers.

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

I agree, I'm not putting any more money into it other than to tune it and get the dyno print out. I'm losing already, I'd rather not lose my shirt. I know its well priced because of the amount of interest I've received. It hasn't sold largely because the buyers interested in the lower than 3k...

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

Nice sarcasm. Yeah, because dumping more money into a bike to make it even better means I should lose even more money. I'm already losing over 2k on this bike, if I'm storing until spring and making it even better, I'm not about to give the shirt off my back as well. Some people are just damn...

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

I've updated my bike sale posting. Added bodywork, even more spares, Aim laptimer, stands, more. Enough Spares to wad it up and have a yard sale in turn 1. Literally. Price lowered to sell, if not Im gonna tune it and jack the price up in the spring. SOLD link removed

I don't think Lee Kuhn ever raced an R6, he did have an SV650, then went to Triumph before he raced the Harley Davidson series. Maybe after the harley days?

where are all the end of season track bike deals??

My GSXR is up for sale. I guess it depends on what the OP considers a good "deal". I wouldn't (and never have) ridden a "cheap" bike on the track. Cheap doesn't mean deal really... anyways, Im losing money on my sale, so I figure its well priced. SOLD link removed Updated price. Body work...

    03 gsxr-600 rear suspension

A stock rear shock will provide the level of precision and adjustment you are likely looking for. If spending the money for a quality rear shock, it makes sense to balance the bike with the front end receiving springs, good oil, and a freshening up. If you have a bank roll to kill, front fork...

run don't walk - bike for sale on gta

Exactly, but the scenario I presented is so outragous, that so would your scenario of an officer finding probable cause to investigate a bike on a flat bed trailer, for no other reason of a traffic stop. Fleeing the scene of a 911 call and theft of motorcycle in progress, that's another animal...

run don't walk - bike for sale on gta

IF he has reasonable and probable grounds. And if the vehicle is in plain sight. Scenario: Driver pulled over with bike in pickup bed, all fairing and numbered up. "Where ya going?" "Shannonville Racetrack for a track day" "Oh. Well since you are just going on your way down the road...
