Went to Greenville SC a couple of weeks back. 850miles straight in 13 hrs. Rode around Greenville the next day and then left the following day in pouring rain up to Asheville and grabbed the BRP and remained in rain for better part of the morning. Got off at Interstate 77 and super slabbed it...

Back in 92/93, when I went to school in Macon Ga, I made several trips back to the gta in one shot. Took around 17hrs(1600+ kms) total because of the many fuel stops I had to make with my then V45 Magna. Definetely sore at the end but had get home itis. Doing something like that on a GL1800...

I came down from Montana via Beartooth pass/Cheif Joseph Hwy to Cody last year. Stayed there for a few days and rode 14/14a, a must. That loop took around 5-6 hrs but spectacular scenery. When leaving I took 16 out and another great ride as well. Both of those are around 6hrs from Cheyenne...

Excellent video of South Dakota I was there last year for 4 days with my ST1300. Wish you had time to take the Spearfish Canyon Hwy out of Spearfish, you would have loved it. The one tunnel that you went through gave a nice visual making the screen white until you came out the other side...
