11 years?!! Yesterday was 6 weeks. Still can't walk on it, though i can get around on my crutches. My knee hurts and buckles when I put weight on it. Very sore and achy at night. I haven't slept more than 90 minutes straight since getting out of the hospital. During the day it's manageable...

Bike is for sure a write off, though my insurance company hasn't confirmed this yet. But based on my knowledge of the prices of the major parts that were damaged, it would cost far more to repair than it's worth. Still no idea when I'll be back to work. My physio therapist is telling me it...

    2016-06-26 - Two riders down - 401 & Vic park

I was with my wife headed east on the 401 express lanes when this accident happened about 100 meters in front of us. 3 bikes in total, 2 of which went down. A ninja 250 and what I think was an R6. There was a minivan involved as well which was pretty banged up. We didn't see exactly what...

he was charged with careless driving. The police office that filed the report called me the day after and said at least 20 witnesses waited to speak with them and gave statements verifying he was at fault.

Starting Tomorrow 3 Person HOV Lanes turn into 2... what does that mean for us?

These HOV lanes have been the best thing ever. My 50 minute ride from Pickering to Yonge and Bloor turned into 25 mins. I rode in a 9am today. There were definitely more people in it on the 401, but it moved pretty quickly still. The DVP was pretty much clear in all lanes the entire way which...

    Question for you lane splitters

I do it sometimes on the highway, but only when traffic isn't moving and I do not go fast. As soon as traffic moves, i pop in behind a car. If I see police, I stop and get in the lane. However, when in the city in traffic or red lights, I filter down all the time. I've done it in front of...

    Danmoto Exhaust Group Buy?

I bought one for my old ninja 250. for the money, it sounded great and fit perfectly. I did find it was was a little loud. However, I did not have have baffles in it. My friend used to have a Yoshi on his Honda 250 which IMO was far louder and more obnoxious sounding. The Danmoto had a lower...

    Riding to work office

Sure there is! Lombard St, Toronto St, Temperance St, Pearl St, Simcoe St and there was Front St at Bay, though I'm not sure if that is still available with all of the construction in front of Union?

    Riding to work office

I work in the financial district. Wear at minimum a shirt and tie every day. Once or twice a week I'm usually in a full suit. When I am, I carefully fold my jacket in half and roll it up and put it in a backpack. Comes out wrinkle free that way.
