Many bikes also come from the factory with these marks as well. Does not necessarily mean it's been raced. Can't speak to whether Suzuki does this but I have had new Hondas and KTMs with torque marks.

I would imagine rotating the shaft would make it clear if it was bent. There would be a wobble to it. As for cracks in the casing, if the cases are dirty clean them up with degreaser and inspect carefully by eye.

You need to see a copy of the ownership. If memory serves me right a green ownership issued to a road plated bike and a brown ownership to offroad plated bikes. There may be other ways to tell, I have just asked the seller what colour their ownership slip is in the past.

You mention on the "shell" of a helmet. Is that specific wording found in the HTA? The reason I ask is I have my gorpo mounted to mx helmet on the bottom of the removable sun visor. I would think that the sun visor is not considered the "shell" of the helmet. Anyone have any thoughts?
