There is a good youtube video on the knox knee guard, and a lot of videos on other armours as well. The guy explains where the safety features are and how to use them. He always starts out with super loud deep voice when he introduces himself. Not sure if the videos are bias towards knox...

I have a CL-SP and a Shoei X-11. One difference I notice between the two is that the padding on the Shoei is way way more snug compared to the HJC, even when the it is worn more than the HJC. Due to that reason I like the Shoei more. In terms of weight, noise and ventilation, I do not notice...
