Thanks you all again.
I was recommended a few nice routes going through the U.S. but that gotta leave for next time going with someone else I guess. For now I'd like to travel within Canada. It won't be as bad to stop in MTL, QC. It looks like there will be a few long stretches about 700km more...
I highly recommend the Fz07. It got the best reviews last year out of all of naked bikes that are around 600-800cc. It looks good (I think the Z800 also looks good), has power and torque. Well if you got money then the monster 696 or 721 would be nice hahaha...
I've been riding the Fz07 since...
Thanks for all the advises. And ewww to blackflies.
I was told to crossover the US but I kinda want to make it a Canadian trip :)
What about cellphone reception? I had bad experience with not having cellphone signal in Cali.
Are there a lot of gas stations along the way? My tank is about 200km.
Since you're mentioning about the cup holder, I highly recommend the golden wing (cuz you're a Honda fan) too :P
I put my hands on the tank when breaking too but I have to adjust myself every time the driver gets going again. It's honestly not comfortable at all and most passengers are okay...
If she finds the VFR comfortable why would she want the handle? She can just grab on your hips, when you slow down or break, she only has to put more pressure on her pegs and tuck in a lil (no leaning, no tensing). If I am in the back, my driver actually prefers me to sit close and grab on him...
Re: Biker LoCafe Idea - need some feedback from all of you
No need to turn it to a pub with beer and food. Cafe with nice fancy a~~ sandwiches (maybe ice-cream too) are good enough. That will save on your capital (having a fully equipped kitchen is a pain). You will have to deal with lots of...
@Matt I've been in the back of many different bikes, gotta say cruisers and enduros (speaking of long rides) are the best for passenger... Otherwise... I have a spare 250 if she wants to buy it off me next season ;). So you choose:
1) Don't divorce the VFR and buy her my 250 :P
2) Divorce the...
I vote for a motorcycle cafe. It has to be downtown though. It'll be nice to have a biker spot to hang out during off season to chat about bikes and meet other bikers. The shop should have an area for info exchange or listings
Just watch out for noise complaints!
"The new GF" eh... :P
Can't she just hold on your waist? More intimate ;)
But this grib seems a good idea.
How about getting her to ride her own bike?
I think it's time to divorce the VFR to get an enduro or cruiser.
The forum is acting weird. It doesn't let you key space. You basically type a letter or word, hit "enter" then you'll be able to type normally again.
That typing seems like he was holding his breath :P
Thank you all for the recommendations. I'm gonna get the spools. That seems like a simple...
Haha I was.
I bought a pair of Venom (the one with paddles) for my 250 and they worked well for one season. Somehow the rear stand just can't hold on the swingarms anymore... ugh... I dun want to be cheap on them especially for my baby Fz07 :) I am just looking for the best solution, checked...
