I'm not an expert in bike suspention, but from research I've done the first thing you should do is to make sure spring rate is correct for your weight. Spring rate must be correct before you do any other adjustments. Doing anything else before setting correct sag is a mistake.

So how did racer5 race go? I was taking the class with you guys, but only did first two days.

That doesn't sound like a lot. I'm assuming modern 600cc bike will have fully adjustable suspension and should be good enough to go to a track without putting any additional money into it. Does that sound correct?

Dave, sorry about that. the fellow on (i think) katana 750 went east on hwy 8. Tim decided to follow him and you both went west. i thought the ride was over and went straight :) there were some really nice back roads. thanks for leading.
