I agree with Iceman here. Its one or the other. I just sold my 2001 wr250f because it had the street ownership and I didn't want to pay for a safety and street insurance to trail ride with my kids. I did enjoy the bike for 7 years on private trails but as my kids get older we're looking at more...

I pretty much just trail ride the bike but I've owned it for about 5 years now and thought it would be fun to change it up a little.

I'm looking to change out the muffler or system on my 2001 wr250f, id like to hear what other people have done. I've read of people putting yz250 pipes on the wr and swapping out the exhaust cam from a '03 wr to eliminate the de-compression lever and starting ritual. Any one have any experiences?

Love the old Triumphs, have built and owned alot over the years. By far my favorite was my 1998 T595 stripped down and converted to a s3 look.
