Has anyone ever had the ballast overheat and catch fire? I've heard stories in the past of bikes catching fire because of the ballast.

Got caught in the storm from Sauga to Toronto....first time riding in heavy rain so it was a bit of a nervous ride. Thankfully made it home safely - drenched as hell though!

I'm a noob however I'm rocking an Akrapovic shorty on my 07 Gixxer and I can definitely see other motorists looking over when I'm coming up to them so they definitely know a bike is around and they don't switch lanes blindly - but as I said I'm a noob so what do I know.

I bought these off Ebay brand new but after reading all the posts on this forum decided to buy ASV levers for $200+. The Ebay ones were closer to $100 so I am looking to recoup as much as possible.

I have just installed my ASV shorty levers so I have the OEM ones to go. Brake lever has small scratches. Best offer takes it.
