    Fault in this scenario?

    cellphone ticket?

Legally, it may not be cheating the system. And I'm all for fighting your tickets. If you read the rest of my post, you would see that I suggested you go back on a similar day and take pictures to see if you can catch glare. In fact, I just came back from the courthouse yesterday. My officer...

    cellphone ticket?

I'm not a police officer in case you're going to ask, but DownUnder does raise a good point. The law is what the law is today, and you did break it as you've admitted yourself. Now, regardless of how we may feel about this law being fair or too overreaching, let's be honest and admit that what...

    Fault in this scenario?

Yes, police report was filed the next day. The other driver was actually the one who insisted on it. Also have photos of collision. Thanks for all the responses; feeling less worried about the risk of going through insurance now. I'll post back when it's settled.

    Fault in this scenario?

There's a patch of paint scraped off the corner of my bumper. Just cosmetic damage. His car, on the other hand, scraped up some of his back door and quarter panel. Also a bit deformed around the seam of the door.

LOL My only concern was whether I could be somehow partially at fault in the eyes of my insurance company and be responsible for my...

Partially at fault (and deductible) scale

Thanks for your responses guys. I looked through the Fault Determination Rules document you provided, but I don't really see any situation that applies in my case. Perhaps I will make a new post for help with determining fault in my scenario. Thanks again

Partially at fault (and deductible) scale

Hi everyone, I've got a question about partial fault and how that affects one's deductible. I called my insurance provider (TDMM) but the person on the phone wasn't positive on her answer. So first, my understanding is that the amount of deductible one must pay is directly proportional to the...
